InfoQ: Support Multiple AJAX Frameworks with OpenAjax Hub.

Stop it.
Stop it.
Stop it.
Stop it.

Reading this, I couldn't help but mentally substitute "Ajax" with "Really Shitty".

Example:
There is great diversity among the requirements of really shitty application developers, and as a result there is great diversity in the architecture and features in the 200+ really shitty products in the marketplace today. For some developers, the most important factor will be finding a really shitty toolkit that offers strong integration with back-end servers. For other developers, the most important factor will be the availability of particular client-side components (e.g., a rich data grid widgets or an interactive charting widget). As a result, the really shitty ecosystem has developed such that most of the time the developer can find a really shitty toolkit that matches each particular requirement, but often the developer finds that he must mix and match multiple really shitty toolkits within the same Web application in order to address all of his requirements.

Everytime I look at something AJAXy I am always surprised at how astonished I am *yet again* at my inevitable epiphany of what a disgustingly evil kludgey, dog walking on hind-legs, knife-as-screwdriver hack the whole thing is.

...I guess that explains why it all has to be hastily wrapped in such buzzword compliant verbiage, the better to aid my mind in blanking that fact out between times ;)

I'm going to make that mental substitution from now on, especially whenever I come across yet another dumb product like OpenReallyShitty.
