slayeroffice | articles: alternatives to innerHTML

A long article on creating and manipulating HTML in the browser. Starts off with a list of pros and cons for innerHTML, but I can't say that I really care.

Sure, innerHTML isn't "standard", meaning, part of the W3 DOM standard, but neither is XmlHttpRequest part of any W3 standard. And given that innerHTML is hella fast, who cares about de facto vs. de jure standards?

Unrelated to the post: snarky comment on table-less markup.

And table based, non-semantic markup is easier than it's accessible alternatives...screw standards!

"And table based, non-semantic markup..."
... is completely orthogonal.

Which browser out there has good client-side scripting support, supports the DOM, but doesn't support innerHTML?
