A List Apart: Articles Zebra Striping More Data for the Case.
If you must zebra-stripe, at least do it in groups of 3 rows at a time. Every-other-row coloring gives me "eye burn".
I think it’s fair to say that the vast majority of us, myself included, expected to see that zebra striping helped a lot.
